Brit Hume is dealing with subject right now. Arlen Spectre was just on and he actually sounded quite rational about it. (scares me when he does that) He put the blame, properly so, on the Dems for bolloxing the Senate bill. Deep down he doesn't get it but he laid out the truth about the politics of the Senate. He still thinks they will come up with a bill after their recess and he poo-pooed the House bill. We have to keep up the pressure.

Tomorrow I burn up the phone lines, e-mailer and I'll even print out a few snail-mail letters for effect. This is what I will send to many, including some talking heads, in hopes more will pick up on the real issues at stake here.

Oh, very good! I have been calling, faxing, etc. McCain's office told me about two weeks ago that it is our "moral responsibility" to take "everyone" in who wants to come. Nice.

I gave up having Fox on, on weekends - since I wasn't hearing any discussions, or just the trite "jobs that Americans won't do" over the last year and that decreed like gospel truth.

I've heard Brit Hume is better than others on the topic, and may not be involved with the Council on Foreign Relations, so can speak his mind. Lou Dobbs isn't a member either.
