It's about the stupidity, Stupid!
not you of course...:)
I haven't been able to connect those dots yet, but I will keep the info in mind.
Politicians have plainly let this nation down on the issue of our POW/MIAs.
THIS is what infuriated me two years ago, They give us a bad name!
Yeah, I guess we've got that going for us. ?
With passions and confusion running high right now this might be a good time and place to remind FReepers that the White House has always been in (or on) Free Republic. Especially for those who have not been here since 2000.
During the 2000 election passions were also running high as you can imagine. At least two FReepers were visited by the Secret Service for untowards comments they made about The Commander In Briefs. One of those said later that he regretted his post almost as soon as he hit the post button and asked that it be deleted. It was and the post was only up for a maximum of fifteen minutes. The SS was at his place of work the next day. Because of those incidents the SS became known as "the WH basement crew."
Since the SS doesn't come and go with administrations it is reasonable to expect that they still monitor the forum. Of course FR membership is more than twice as big now and postings are probably much more than twice as voluminous and the internet itself must have a hugely increased volume of traffic but it is worth considering that your anonymity on the web may not be as secure as you think it is. When you're angry it's always best to push the keyboard back and take a breath. ; )
Post 2075: Looks good, hope we get a report on this...
Huh?

Know that Denny's plans to give worker's off Monday May 1st
Denny's and their self-serving approach to illegal immigration.
Friends, please mail this to your lists. Call the Denny's Customer Service Team at 1-800-733-6697. This took me less than 30 seconds. Though it may not be the entire truth, I told them I am a regular customer, and if I find that they are recognizing this 'day without a Mexican,' I am through with them.
Good day my friend ;)
This is Be Nice to La Dita Day...
I held down the fort last night ...

I try to keep you all entertained and informed, it's all I can do..
~~~sniff, sniff~~~ LOL (dont' mind me)
We get the government we deserve, as a whole. We are going down the same road as the Roman Empire. Read "The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire". All we can do, is what we can do. We need to be ready for, as I see it, for the bad times ahead, especially if the fools in Washington give this illegals amnesty.
Americans are more worried about sports, Desperate Housewives, and who won American Idol than the crisis that this country is facing.
Okay Freepateers I need to leave for awhile! Keep the Homelite burning!
(Cueing music to Evita) Don't cry, mi La Dita..... ;^)
'Fraid I'm going on break now too. ; )
I remember that game. It was fun to watch. (I can't remember if I was that great with the answers...probably not....and I couldn't play the actual game well, either. : )
Homeland Security even announced it has suspended the sanctioning of employers who hire illegal aliens, and President Bush suspended the Davis-Bacon Act, which requires local contractors to pay "prevailing" wages.* * *
If the Internal Revenue Service collected all the taxes that should be paid by the underground economy, our current budget deficit would disappear overnight, according to the Bear Stearns study released last year. The Americans who pay taxes are giving a free ride to those who are not paying taxes, and a 7-cent increase in the price of lettuce should not be on our worry list.
BTTT!
nicmarlo's response to Schlafly article points up IRS default.
I repeatedly wonder out loud, How is it that the IRS manages (and has managed for so long) to overlook auditing the companies that are known to employ illegals...? How is it?
Good question! Bill O'Reilly gets audited, frequently he claims. Why not Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and others known to hire illegals?
