IMHO, this immigration issue defines which amongst us really ARE American ....especially those inside the beltway, for whom this is such a "challenging", "nuanced", and "complex" issue.
For sure-----this has concentrated attention on the real issues at stake here---and that is the stability of US democracy, which is built upon the rule of law.
The rule of law is the bulwark of our republic and the linchpin to its continued viability-----the only thing standing between us and camouflage-clad federales patrolling our streets with shoulder holsters.
Illegal invaders are undermining all of this. It cannot and will not not be tolerated.
