Bush not only didn't defend his administration from the Wilsons' lies, he praised Fitzgerald as running a "dignified" investigation. Good lord... this "dignified" investigation is going to bulldoze a hole through this administration at this rate.. What is Fitzpatrick really after, anyway? Libby isn't charged with conspiracy.. just lying. What's his angle?

His case is falling apart and this is an SOS to his friends in the MSM and Democratic party to help him. He will give them Rove.

The MSM is afraid of the pajama people. They should be afraid. Pajama people are everywhere; checking facts, fonts, and fabricated stories.

Sept. 30, 2003: "There are too many leaks of classified information in Washington.
And if there's a leak out of the administration, I want to know who it is.
Uh-oh. Looks like everybody finally knows who the leaker is.
To: George W. Bush
The was no leak. Only a Bush hater would entertain this dem and msm attack. The left must be stopped from runining this country any more than they have.

DemocRATS and their allies in the liberal MSM are going kadikandoo over nothing. Information from the National Intelligence Estimate was released under the authority of the President of the United States as part of the war effort in 2003. That was almost three years ago.

Isn't the entire investigation a sideshow?
To: West Coast Conservative
if President Bush authorized it, then there was no leak. Therefore there was no crime, and Fitzgerald's witch hunt should be shut down. End of story.
Tonight Oberman showed the famous clip of the President saying he wanted to get to the bottom of the leaks (taking it out of context) and then he and his MSM pal basically accused President Bush of lying through his teeth. Makes my blood boil.

Exactly. Scooter is performing for his prosecuters.
Fitzy wants Cheney or Bush as a trophy. He is leading Scooter to say whatever is necessary to hurt Bush.
With every news report on this investigation lately, there have been FReepers who've claimed that it was a sign of Fitzgerald digging himself into a hole and that the whole thing was going to collapse. I wasn't so sure. This guy seems absolutely ruthless. He's out of control now, and the only way to stop him is for Gonzales or somebody with courage in the Justice Department to do the right thing, fire him, and take the heat for it. Otherwise I don't like where this is going.

The "leak" question: it's so simply my 6th grade daughter can understand it. And, yet, journalists cannot. A "leak" is an unauthorized release of otherwise unreported information. The President is authorized to release this information.
It's not a "leak." So there can be no rational charge of hypocrisy. And Chuck Schumer is a schmuck.
