Your comments about the ex-Mayor are bizarre. What makes you think Guiliani talks like a Soprano? He's nothing like that, being very personable in social settings (the only times I've met him). He's a cultured individual.

And Guiliani's stoic leadership on 9/11 was remarkable. His example certainly managed to calm my near hysteria on that terrible day.

And p.s.: How can anyone forget the Mayor throwing Arafat out of the Metropolitan Opera based on nothing more than he didn't like the creep and didn't want him sullying his beloved opera house.

You must apply your talents to reading more carefully.

I happen to adore this Mayor.

I offered an opinion about his "persona" as I believe middle Americans view him and New Yorkers.

Mayor Nagin should have been Mayor of NYC on 911. /s

I have issues with Rudy (2nd Amendment), but he's one tough man. His resume is very impressive. Much more so than Clinton or Carter.

Guiliani's stoic leadership on 9/11 was remarkable.

Leadership?

After the first WTC tower was hit, all those trapped in the second one could have been evacuated. Where was the leadership?

The primary first responder protocol in such an emergency is to “isolate and deny entry.” This was also not observed and led to more loss of life. (I have professionally supervised emergency response, hazardous waste operations, evacuations and confined space rescue.)

It ain't about rocket science and glory hunting.

The response to the New York portion of that attack was disorganized and frantic.

A lot of people seem to conveniently forget the 9-11 attack was not just in New York... we also lost some of our best in Washington D.C. at the Pentagon! AND, what about the other aircraft that went down? Where was that headed?

All of this melodramatic media fodder makes me ill...

Giuliani testifying about the New York aftermath of that 9-11 attack has nothing to do with the case against Moussoui (however the hell you spell it) being involved with those terrorists in planning and executing those attacks!

We all know what happened afterward... I challenge any legal “expert” to explain how this was even relevant to that terrorist scum's complicity in the trial.

Immigration? Open borders? Terrorism? LEADERSHIP?

How did these creeps get into the USA to begin with???

Excuse me for being so pi$$ed off !!!

How can anyone forget the Mayor throwing Arafat out of the Metropolitan Opera based on nothing more than he didn't like the creep and didn't want him sullying his beloved opera house.

How can anyone forget letting him stay at-large in the city outside???

He's a cultured individual.

Just what we need, a high society limousine liberal.
