How would you deport every single illegal? You can't and you know it. I wish folks would stop speaking in bumper sticker speak and come up with feasible solutions.

Quit being so stinking disingenuous.

At least 3 million have come in in the last year alone. How are you going to deport THEM under this stupid bill.

Fact is, it requires JUST AS MUCH POLITICAL WILL to deport 3 million as it does to deport 30 million.

And it is clear that Bush/McCain/Kennedy and Co. don't even want to deport ONE.

No jobs, no free handouts - they will self-deport. They managed to get here, sneaking in illegally - they can manage to get out.

We deported Nazi Germany from Western Europe. I don't recall the whiners saying it couldn't be done back then.

And the Nazis were armed and trained soldiers.

But beyond that, we need to set up a multi-tiered approach that addresses border security, business enforcement, denial of government benefits to illegals, assistance to those willing to voluntarily deport themselves and ICE unleashed upon those who won't.

No one approach will work by itself. But combined they can. But the one thing we CANNOT do is repeat the mistakes of the Reagan amnesty - which Bush wishes to do.

Here's a few modest suggestions. If any illegal violates any (other) law, he's deported. Up to and including traffic laws. And many illegals would "deport" themselves if we did a few things. For example: stop providing any welfare or other benefits, including "free" public education to illegals. Throw a few employers of illegals in jail. It's not brain surgery.

Uhh, yeah, we can, with enough time. We can also imprison employers that hire illegals.

Take away the incentive and enforce the border, they will leave on their own. Why would we try to remove them without removing the incentive to come back?

You could deport them to the southern Mexican border and they will without a doubt breach our border again.

We could take a cue from the above movie "They Live" starring Roddy Piper.
