Powerful stuff.

Since time travel cannot occur, either now or at any time in the future, I fail to see anything powerful about this propaganda piece for a person who claims to have a 170 IQ.

time travel is impossible

When I was sixteen years old I was all excited and ran up to my beloved grandmother. She was a nice lady, well educated, read the newspapers every day, and normally kept her opinions to herself.

"Grandma", I said, "you really need to stay up late tonight and watch TV. Something very exciting is going to happen tonight. Man is going to set foot on the moon--and you can watch it on TV."

"Dear", she said, "you don't really believe that silly stuff, do you. It is impossible to fly a man to the moon."

Grandma was born in 1899, that was what she had taught in school, and she chose to continue to believe it.

As to time travel, there are already lab experiments trying to move subatomic particles through time, and this may soon be considered routine. If that can be done then binary communication will be possible through time. That is turn would allow actual messages to be sent through time.

Add a good holograph technology and you have Simmon's visitor. I am not saying it is certain that it would work but "impossible" it is not.
