Finally, in November 1995, David's conscienc crumbled under the strain of silenc. He phoned the FBI and set an appointment with an agent to give his statement. When he arrived at the FBI headquarters in Oklahoma City, he was asked to wait. A staggering thre hours passed and no one acknowledged his presence or spoke to him. He informed the receptionist he was leaving, but she persuaded him to stay awhile longer. His patience was in vain. The FBI had no intention of vcreating a 302 which would have documented testimony that validated the claims of Cactus motel owner Randy Christian. (NOTE FROM DFU - not his real name....Jayna protected those names in the book)
Ironically, on that very afternoon, while David sat in the lobby, three FBI agents questiioned Randy in the inner chambers. They had placed a polygraph machine on the conference table an arm's length from where the witness was seated.
"I told them I could identify the Middle Eastern suspects who were at the motel with Timothy McVeigh," Randy declared. "I said I would gladly submit to a lie detector test and state for the record the men I saw colluding with McVeigh were featured in KFOR-TV's surveillance photographs. They never hooked me up to the polygraph machine, and I have no idea why."
Randy described the nine-hour marathon as nothing less than a hostile interrogation. He was offered no food, drink, or restroom breaks.
"The agents were clearly not the least it interested in the facts. I spent the entire time refuting false statements they attributed to me. It was totally exhausting and quite ridiculous." ==========================================================================
You really are going to find out that Nichols was taught to build the bomb by terrorists in the Philippines. Bill Clinton told the FBI that he wanted this to be domestic terror. They gave him what he wanted, and people have been covering their own *sses ever since.
Doug--again, still have to read David---but Peter Lance (hardly a Clinton apologist) who wrote "1000 Years for Revenge" looked at the claims that McV and N were working with the Arabs in the Philippines and he ultimately discounts it. Please check his endnotes. Lance is one of the BEST investigators of 9/11 that we have, and he did not leave this stone unturned. If I get a chance Fri., when I'm back in the office, I'll try to post his endnote analysis.
