And of course, The passage from truth to the hideous delusion that evil is admirable--and even good--is a journey through shadowy corridors and through several levels of descent into darkness. The current defense and even promotion in abortion of alive unborn children is the classic example of the above descent. Now, we've descended so low that conceiving and killing the conceived for their body parts is praised as good and enlightened work for medicine. And the leaders of a political party fully invested in the promotion and defense of these evil behaviors are considered heroic, champions of ultimate good, and defenders of 'the children'.
