I find it odd the time it took to bring this to the cops. That these are former cadet's make me wonder if they have a beef with the school and perhaps this male cadet.

Maybe Lonnie doesn't know the difference between his rifle and his gun.

There are a lot of questions unanswered by this article. One I find particulary interesting is, "How does the academy have jurisdiction in this case if it happened in the continental US, off base, while the cadet was on leave?"

Cassella said the cadet will be "presumed innocent until found guilty. Total BS, this person better reread the UCMJ.
Guilty or not, this young man's military career is over before it even really began, even if the charges prove to be totally false.

Let's see: These two (not one, but two!) women were graduates, and, presumably, officers when this happened -- over a year ago. And the guy was still a cadet.
Makes one wonder if "conduct unbecoming an officer" could somehow have been involved...

Two commissioned officers let a Kaydet get the drop on them and rape them?? I'd love to see how they handle combat.

Army Officers raped by a cadet .... something doesn't pass the smell test .... a cadet on leave in October? .... So many questions? Did they know each other as cadets? .... How well? Were they in the same company? The then female cadets were his upperclass cadets ... As a plebe my 1st squad leader after beast was a trouser rouser ... I mean ramble rouser .... Maybe the sex rules at Hudson High have changed but the general rule of thumb on post was penetration = separation.

Cassella said the cadet will be "presumed innocent until found guilty." Well, that's a comfort. ;)

You're seeing more and more of these stories. If this cadet is guilty, and note that he is a senior, on the cusp of graduating with an officer's commission, why in the world, I ask myself, did he do it? What was he thinking? Or was he thinking with his d***? The OldPossum can't understand this.
