By who, Dane? You? You've officially hit a new all-time low in your rationalizations.
"This country lacks the inner strength to carry on the war on terror"
Actually, it does not. Well over half approve of the mission, and the way it is being conducted.
So, you two... When all rationalizations fail, the truth comes to light, and the liberals are shown for their spots.
In any event. No real reason to tie any 'guest-worker' amnesty to HR 4437. Let them remain here illegal, if they like. They'll eventually be deported or defunded to the point that most leave voluntarily. No cattle cars necessary. We could buy them a first-class ticket to Mexico City for less than they cost us in entitlements over a single year.
Hey Cowboy, I have a tendency to back what I say with data...how about you?
"Bush has retained a base of support for his handling of the broader war on terror, as 46% said he is doing a good job, down just one percent since October. His management of the war on terror had been a consistently bright spot for the President since the aftermath of the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, before dipping below 50% last year." -- Zogby, January 15, 2006One hundred percent of this nation watched the towers fall on September 11, 2001...less than five years later, less than fifty percent of those people approve of the "way the mission is being conducted."
