I'd love to see that arrogant, self-important witch posing for a mug shot. She certainly won't look as good as DeLay!
She'll cry racism, no doubt.

Of course. But when she and her father blame the Jews, as they so often do, that's not a race thing, eh, McNinney?

I was just reading a thread about grown up children. Where are the adults? I thing Washington DC should stand for Washington Day Care. What's next? Biting?

I am not making this up.
On Chris Matthews last night one of the guests said this was a racial thing, that congress critters walk around the check point all the time.
And whoever was talking said they were taking McKinney's side on this (I was in the other room and don't know who was talking).
First, why on earth are the other congress critters walking around the checkpoint? As I understand they've got some kind of dojobby that lets them walk through without a lot of bother. So what the hell?
Second, hitting a cop cannot in any way be condoned. Remember that the cop was just stopping McKinney for identification. I don't believe for a minute he did it just to harrass her. Maybe these capitol cops let congress critters through that they know but they damn well shouldn't. If they do than they've opened themselves up for this kind of thing.
Treat everyone the same, make a rule, and stick to it. The guy didn't know who McKinney was. Should he have just let her walk, la-di-da, right on through?

When an enraged idiot tried to push through a police check point and slugs a police man, he should have incapacitated herToo bad he didn't tase her - it might have shocked some sense into her!

Good...
Chrissy said last night that there was no cameras.
I'm not one for playing gotcha' politics... this is the exact kind of thing that should blow over IF democrats weren't such sanctimonious, self-absorbed SoBs.
Congressmen/women wear lapel pins on their jacket to identify who they are, and that they are able to go around the metal detectors (seems like a security exploit/risk to me). Anyway, she is known to never wear hers.
She walked around a security checkpoint, without her pin, got stopped (grabbed on shoulder) and she clocked him.
THEN afterwords didn't take a breath and say 'sorry it was mistake in communication', and instead got all pissed off at him... OUTRAGED that he did not recognize her and know she didn't have to wait in security lines like everyone else.
Whats more, her (and Chrissy on his show last night) are starting to say that there is all kinds of racial components here, and that she was only stopped in the 1st place because she is black.
Such the wrong reaction, that I do hope she gets charged with something, but more because of that than the original action.
I do think the cop would not have pressed charges if she didn't act like such a child.

Looks are not deceiving.
I woke up one day some years ago, with McKinney as my House Rep, having been represented by Newt upon retiring the night before. It was not a pretty thing. Fortunately, that redistricting was recently undone, and though in DeKalb, I am no longer in her district.
I have been following her for some time, and in fact organized a reasonably successful FReep of one of her events 4 years ago (I was on 2-3 local TV news channels' segements about the event, with a good sound bite from our side).

My suggestion: Take her out onto the Capitol grounds, handcuff and blindfold her, then stune her beeber with a taser. Then release her back into the wild.

If Chrissie and the Dems want to line up and defend nut-ball Cynthia, fine by me! Every time she openes her mouth she shows what an idiot she is. Keep this front and center for awhile. It helps her opponent in the coming election.
Could it be a Dem plot to get her out of office?
To: Rummyfan
DANG! she's already a taser victim!

"There is another class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs -- partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs."
