A friend of mine's wife had a patient names Siphyllis
(s eye feye llus)

She said she saw it on a poster at the Health Department and thought it was a pretty name.

i also went to high school with an Orangella

Once had a male patient named Didymus. Gotta wonder what people would say to him in sex-ed class when they learned about the male anatomy.

Could be a family name. There are a lot of strange first names that were last names first.

Here's one that would be cool: A girl with the last name Howlin marries a guy with the last name Wolf.

They could name their baby Howlin Wolf!
