Our friends (W loyalists) run a horse operation and are utterly dependent on Mexican labor to run the stable. Their 150 horses need to be fed, exercized, doctored and don't care whether its done in Texan or Spanish.

Its well and good to demand compliance, but we simply aren't going to deport 12 million people. These folks are staying. What we can do is secure the border (wall, fence, whatever) and regularize the folks here now.

Now, are you saying that "we cannot deport 12 million criminals" because your friends are benefiting from illegal immigration? Or are you saying that because you actually believe it?

Let's face it... we're not going to deport 12 million people. The costs would be staggering. Police time, court hearings, lawyers, incarceration, meals, transportation... the cost could easily exceed $100 billion.

We need to shut down the border, register the current illegals, put them at the end of the naturalization line, and lay hefty fines on businesses that hire illegals.

My main concern is that this will be another "last chance" amnesty deal like we had in the 1980s.
