"In other words, the Mexican government wants veto power over U.S. immigration policy.
And they might just get it."
Unfortunately, I think you're right. The extra money for police, etc. spent on illegals...carrying the Mexican flag instead of the American didn't help their cause in my eyes.
"The hypocrisy and actions of the Mexican government makes me sick."
The hypocrisy and actions of the (Mexican) AMERICAN government makes me sick.
So "Chutzpah" in Spanish means Bullshit? Or Dumbass?
Color me surprised.
The left is saying "excellent". They got the right wing reactionaries all rowed up.
It's all about greed and power.
we need to start paying illegals in the currency of their country...
that's the ticket...
teeman
America is being invaded daily, and the oligarchy, in harmony with big money, is using it to their political and financial advantage to the detriment of the American people. Any guesses as to who the chief honcho is?
Did anyone else listen to Coast to Coast last night?
I say we have some of our own marches with signs
that say Remember The Alamo...
we ain't goin' down without a fight!
They have their own base all riled up, too. That's why they need the illegals, felons, and metally disturbed votes.
The hypocrisy and actions of the Mexican government makes me sick.

The hypocrisy and actions of OUR government makes me sick!
What burns in my gut more than ANYTHING is the inappropriate use of the word "rights" .
Listen up people: they have no rights, they are not americans, they cannot vote, they do not pay taxes, they are illegal aliens eating on your dime in a lot of cases.
My god, it's starting to smell like France around here.
We are about to give away our law and heritage to the country that can dump the most on us. Imagine if China gets the bright idea.... god help us.
There is no border anymore. It's a joke. That's impressive. Should we therefore give these people everything they want? Many of our politicians seem to think so.
You chose a good word--'Mobocracy.'
It doesn't look to me like the people in the L.A. street march were living in the shadows. They were out in broad daylight, marching openly, without fear, dictating to us what our immigration law should be.
No fear or respect whatsoever for our national sovereignty or laws. None.
Some of them carried signs that read, "If you think I'm illegal' because I'm a Mexican learn the true history because I'm in my homeland."
What's to say?
Why did so many display the Mexican flag if they are fighting for rights in the United States?
Because they are loyal to Mexico. It reminds me as to a contributing factor in the fall of the Roman Empire....and that was granting citizenship whose hearts and interests did not lie with Rome.
In solidarity, a group of demonstrators (some carrying communist party banners) erected a cardboard wall in front of the U.S. Embassy, inscribing it with anti-American slogans.
Bold mine....that's a real shocker.
In the Mexican Congress, it was announced that a document would be drafted, to show support for the protest marches in our country.
Bold theirs. Very bold indeed.
In other words, the Mexican government wants veto power over U.S. immigration policy.
I think they already have it.
After all, many in our own government are only too happy to oblige them.
Words cannot convey my disgust at the cowardice of our 'leaders'.
Both sides are hysterical on the issue. One side wants to flood our labor pool, and the other side wants to severely punish those who come across the border for jobs (the bloated American dollar).
I'm not a Republican for the purpose of kissing up to the boss, developing a slave mentality and fighting against other slaves. If you want to stop the flood, stop the job opportunities and artificially high dollar that attract it. What's being done to employers of illegals? Complain about our Fed policy of raising the rate to keep the dollar too high in international markets (which much complaining by our business interests in 2001 caused to happen).
The word 'rights' have been applied to so many things it has lost all meaning; the definition of 'true rights' has been diluted by overuse and misapplication of this word.
"The hypocrisy and actions of the Mexican government makes me sick."
As does the appeasement of the American gov't.
I believe that those who come across the border should be treated harshly....and I think employers who hire them should be dealt with more harshly.
