Oh and one other thing..

Controversies ALWAYS tend to push people into more entrenched and radical views than they start out with. The moderate middle is usually made a no-man's land. That happened in the American Civil War. That is what I fear the most.

I honestly wished Narby's pollyannish views were workable.. and they MAY be from a unified position of strength with a clear message from all americans.

We have got to unify on this and only THEN can we maybe offer some sort of compromise solution to the illegals that are already here.

But I'm not going to talk that talk now. We have a major threat to our nation and way of life. Time to get tough first.

Friend of God writer, eh? :}

We tried to comprimise 20 years ago, and that is exactly what put us in the current fix.

The citizens of the United States of America ARE unified on the solution. It's called HR 4437. It's backed, in principle, by 70% of our citizens (that's as close to 'unified' as you will ever see in a democracy). We are being ignored, on purpose, by the United States Senate that is sworn to do the bidding of We the People at the behest of the Chamber of Commerce, the Mexican Government, and the UN.

It is gross deriliction of duty on the part of the Senate that is at issue here, not a lack of unity among the American people. Anyone politician, or any political party, that thinks they will get a 'pass' on this is sorely mistaken.

Yeah . . . I love God, and I'm honored to be His friend. :o)

Good point. You know, Praxeus, I keep thinking of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. We could get there some day, you know? We need to be proactive about the situation, instead of allowing it to get to that point. Because once it does . . . well, it's scary to even think about.
