Anne Graham Lotz has a new book. She always does so well. Holmes asked her who was the biggest sinner among the three and Anne said that she was. Holmes was definitely taken back by this. Anne said she is human, and thus a sinner.
She quoted 2Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Sean cut her off before she could finish the verse. This is one of my FAVORITE Scripture.
Anne was trying to say that when things like 9/11 happen we need to look up and ask God what He is trying to tell us. She believes (I agree) that Katrina and 9/11 and the Tsunami were all wake up calls from God about our condition as people.
Wish I could remember the name of the book. It will repeat later tonight. I saw Lotz at the Rose Bowl a few years ago. Very unconfortable stadium. Wonderful experience with the Lord.
