And they don't all come to work on the farms. Here in Michigan I've worked in a couple of factories where illegal aliens were working.
They're in meat packing plants too. If you look at the wages paid to employees, they drop as illegal aliens begin moving into the labor force.
If you want to slow illegal aliens coming into the US, you need to cut the demand, meaning getting brutal on businesses that hire illegals. First offense, $5,000 per illegal working. Second offense $50,000 per. Third offense, $500,000 per illegal. It will bankrupt some companies, but it would be worth it. And maybe putting the CEO or owners in jail wouldn't hurt either.
