I can think of plenty better ways to spend $2.2 billion - how about winning the war in Iraq first?

This proposal has nothing to do with the war; don't divert the thread. In fact, the positive gains from the WOT are being lost this very moment on a porous border that serves as an entry point for undeesirables of all kinds.

BTW, I see that you are all for protecting the rights of the illegal entry criminals. Any particular reason for doing so???? I mean, you are even for illegal Mexicans landing here for free soup, aren't you?

Do you think every non-criminal mexican who wants to work in the US should be able to whenever they want?

"I can think of plenty better ways to spend $2.2 billion - how about winning the war in Iraq first?'

CA spends 10+ billion a year on their "illegal" problem. $2.2 billion from the FEDGOV is chump change.....a veritable fart in the wind. All that's needed is a President who will stand up for his country's' sovereignty. Apparently this one is not up to the job.

Moot point if we lose our country first.

If scamnesty goes through, we can kiss our national sovereignty goodbye permanently. If we wait another election cycle to fix this problem it will be too late.

Pick a side. You're either a US citizen, and willing to stand side-by-side and fight for rule-of-law and national sovereignty, or you are batting for the wrong team.
