I do NOT support such a bill. I would support a bill that would put employers of illegal aliens in jail. Felonizing the illegals will not slow the flood. Real sanctions on the employers may. It should be fairly easy to get a work permit and visa to come to America for other Americans (continentally speaking) and for educated others and we should give education visas to well qualified applicants, i.e very smart.

And we need the wall on the southern border. Once here citizenship should be difficult with English proficiency a requirement. I would add a necessity for a working knowledge of American History and the founding documents and concepts, except we don't teach any of that to our own children any more. There should be no welfare benefits of any sort for non-citizens and emergency medical care should not be provided at taxpayer expense to any illegals, and there whould be no interference with private charity.

Illegals having babies should be given the option of taking them with them when they are deported or leaving them in this country to be adopted out with new identities- no connections to the birth parents.

All government work should, by law, be carried out in English- all government publications in English only and there should be no restrictions on any private business using any language it likes. Government schools should be English language only with the provision that private entities can run ESOL classes.

It does not matter what new laws and restrictions we put on the illegals, If the politicians and bureaucrats will not enforce them, they are just a waste of money, trees, and bandwidth.

IMHO, employers should be HEAVILY fined for employing illegals.. on the basis that they are aiding in the commission of a felony... being here illegally should also be a crime.. IMHO
