Leveraging McCain

By Salena Zito TRIBUNE-REVIEW Sunday, March 26, 2006

WASHINGTON The first thing that strikes you about John McCain is that he's comfortable in his own skin, a trait possessed by too few of his colleagues.

Capitol Hill is about being "on message." McCain is who he is. His leaps across the aisle add to his legend.

The first thing that strikes you about John McCain is...

that he is insane.

McCain has only ONE audience -- the MSM. That is his voting base...

Should read more like:

He leaps across the aisle to add to his legend...

The more I see of this guy, the more I despise him.

"comfortable in his own skin"

Hmmmmm, I remember early on these are the exact words Rush used to describe President Bush....

Now what happened to making TAX CUTS permanent and US becoming energy independent..... MacCain has opposed both of the very key conservative ideas....

MacCain's desire to control Internet speech does not fit a conservative mind...

If he was comfortable in his own skin he'd have a core set of beliefs, rather than fawning for the media.

The media continues to lose every ounce of credibility, especially when it comes to McCain...

Yup, McCain in a nutshell. Speaking of which, have you noticed how short his arms are? I can't figure out if it's an illusion, or what. But he looks like a sock puppet.

His desire to control internet speech dooms him. Roundly despised before, he's anathema now.

I am not convinced yet that anyone in the elected domain has the mind and spine to take a stand against this guy. They majority bought hook line and sinker his campaign finance reform and helllo Soros and Indian Tribe dominion over speech/dollars.

So you have noticed that also. McCain is the MSM pick for the
run for president in 08. I wonder how many have picked up on this, but the bigger question is, WHY? Could it be some of his
titrates are closely related to the lefts position on many issues? Could it be that they know if elected as the candidate
for the GOP his big mouth will kill him? Is because he has a big problem with that temper of his?
I know some here on FRepublic like McCain and that is their choice, not mine, and I hate putting George Allen's name on Fr because someone is going to chastise me for it.

"...have you noticed how short his arms are?"

I think it is an illusion. He cannot move his arms above his head due to the torture he endured as a POW in Vietnam.

I am extremely grateful for his service in Vietnam and the sacrifices he endure. I even told him that personally when I met him in 1995.

However, Washington DC and the Drive-By-Media has tainted him politically to the point of no return.

****However, Washington DC and the Drive-By-Media has tainted him politically to the point of no return*****

I think h does a pretty good job of tainting himself.

But the media loves him./

McCain has only one aspiration. The Oval Office. He certainly does not care about preserving America -- his smashing of the First Amendment was a classic example, along with his collusion with Kennedy to provide amnesty to 10 million criminals in this country...no, McCain is for McCain, and like most Washington leftist pols, AT ANY COST TO AMERICA. Watch him -- he plays both sides of many issues (deja vu Kerry) to maximize HIS position. He stinks.

don't be surprised, being the maverick that he is that he'll run for president with feingold as vice president...
