No..what I meant was that my ancestry is German and Italian...and that I show no allegiance to them just because I share their DNA.
Likewise, the future children of many of these protestors will feel the same way..
I think these demonstrations will prove there is indeed strength in numbers.
Back in the 60's if a couple of guys burned their draft cards, they were arrested. If a couple of hundred did it together, all that happened was...it made the 6 o'clock news.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Italy and Germany are an ocean away and Mexico is just over the border. Therefor this wave is different than any other wave. It cannot be assumed that the same assimilation patterns will hold. If you look at these protests ,on our soil, consisting of many foreign nationals demanding we change our laws and feel warm and fuzzy I doubt any of my points have a chance getting through.
