I got to thinking about your post, then mine to you...

While I agree with your statements about Reagan and Clinton...what we all need to realize...is that was then. This is now.

The person in charge now, who we elected...was supposed to be a conservative. I believe he IS in many MANY ways. I'm MORE THAN HAPPY, that with 911, he was President. Kerry would STILL be under the table sucking his thumb in fear...

BUT! Those in charge NOW, are the ones who MUST take care of the problem. They must NOT sell our country out...they just must not.

That's so true. Pointing fingers isn't going to solve the problem, it's getting after those in power that will; it's THEIR JOB!

I won't hold my breath however. Sooner or later, the shiite going to hit the fan, one way or another. If it comes to having to defend life and property, then I just hope everyone is prepared. Those that are entering this country illegaly, or even legaly with the purpose of destroying it aren't afraid to take what ever they can of yours, including your life. If things fall apart, God help us all.

In fact, I would be down at the border right now...building a fence or being a Minutewoman, if I could.

I am just sick of people who aren't honest about their reasons for border control..

MY reason....I don't want diseases that the USA has not had to deal with in a generation...suddenly showing up in the hospitals on the border...

I don't like having to pay more for services and products because they have to have Spanish and English included.

I don't like there is a lot of crime in my area from the Drug gangs from Mexico...

I don't like seeing paper towels in the grocery store needing a spanish sub-title...duh!

I don't like that the TV programs that my 1 year old and 6 year old granddaughters watch seem to have Spanish forced into the cartoons....and Mexican characters in every program it seems...I RESENT THE HELL OUT OF THAT..

I am an AMERICAN, my children and grandchildren are AMERICANS...and we speak English...I do NOT want a foreign culture rammed down our throats.

Okay...that is HONEST...

But, in my mind right now....I hate that....but, I hate the idea of my granddaughters having to wear a burqa someday as well.

SOOO...when I see all of the HATE on this forum for Bush because of the border problem...and the complaints are about a lot of stuff other than the possibility of terrorists coming in over the border...

I wonder what the posters really are protesting...and what they fear the most.

I HATE the Mexicanization of America....and I will gladly fight it...but, I FEAR the ISLAMASIZATION of American more.

And if Bush is willing to fight to keep that part of the world OFF our land..and fight it over in the Middle East...

then please pardon me if I am not going to throw the one POTUS that HAS taken on the ISLAMOFASCISTS just to make me happier about the Mexicanization of America.

I don't know if this makes sense..I am tired...and it is late...but, we are at WAR people..and if we aren't careful...while we are busy filling up buses with Mexicans and South Americans....our norther border, and airports will be sneaking in people that don't mind killing themselves in order to take out a school.

I am not saying we have to do one OR the other...but lets not forget who actually attacked us on 9/11, and remember that President Bush is the FIRST POTUS that has taken it to them after an attack...and we have been attacked since at least 79 amd 84.
