Yes. There are lesbian couples who are raising children in every financial bracket, rich, middle-income, and poor. But I agree with you that simpler societies tend not to tolerate such things. They don't have the ACLU in places where subsistence is the principal issue in life.

So I did, and so you get a break for assuming I meant rich. My thoughts, however poorly expressed, were that the poor South Africans that one might be inclined to see in his mind's eye are not normally -- certainly not to me -- associated with such sophisticated debauchery.

The premise is that, where there isn't the luxury to act like de-evolutionary imbecils, people don't have the time to refine their perversions.
