That's the problem with this country - it's controlled by special interest groups.
I can understand the Catholic Church because most Latinos are Catholic. I understand the ACLU because their only goal is to destroy the country. But the NRA?
Most of our "conservative" institutions have been taken over. Grover Norquist is on the board of directors of the NRA.
Note: the Church is not in favor of illegal immigration. The Church is in favor of treating people with basic human respect, no matter where they come from. I think it's possible to enforce the immigration laws without treating people badly -- and that is what the Catholic Church advocates.
