You're kidding, right? If not, there's no reason to do this just to make a point. I'm sure Freepers (including myself) would gladly raise any legal fees incurred, and we can make our point that way while remaining online.

Yes, we can raise a lot of money to cover legal costs. But if this issue ends in a court challenge, at that point we're down to our last chance. If for some strange reason this flagrant destruction of the 1st amendment was then upheld by the courts, we would be screwed and a terrible legal precedent would be set. So we don't want to get cornered like that with only our last chance left. We need to push for congress to pass this Blogger Protection bill and explicitly protect our right to free speech in federal law.
