To: Cap'n Crunch

Where do you live? Starting businesses in dying communities is always a problem, but hope springs eternal. There are usually good reasons why people are tied to their towns and try to make the most of it. It is likely that you will look back on this time as the best time of your life. Hard times bring out good in good people.

Ford Motor Company closed it's doors in December. That was a major blow. Marconi is so thin now in this city they may as well be closed, and they were a big employer. A few of our other businesses moved out of town.

There was hope of casinos right down the street but I heard on the radio today that Big Brother Cleveland is trying to keep it all for themselves, shutting us out.

We've got a great lake front, knee deep in Section 8 housing. A real Democrat Utopia...
