Why is it up to the Church to send them back? Do you expect the Church to investigate and prosecute murders too? I (not "FormerLib") will ask the question over and over until someone answers it.

If the church conceals a murderer and keeps them from justice, the people reponsible for those action are going to be prosecuted!

What are you babbling about?
I did not say the church had to send them back.
If the church aids them in staying, yes, they are breaking the law.
A guy who just molested and killed 1000 children walks into a church and says, " Please hide me." Should the church hide him or turn him over to the police?
If they do hide them, should they be prosecuted for aiding and abetting?

Because it is expected that the Church and its members will obey the law of the country. "If" they become aware that the person or persons they are helping are illegal immigrants, then they have a duty to report them to the relevant authorities. The ONLY exception to this is the "seal of the confessional".
