I would be worried about possible arrest if HR 4437 if gets passed then.

Now do you think Churches should be allowed to hide lawbreakers for the express purpose of hiding them from law enforcement?Yes or No.
Basically, feed the hungry without asking immigration status? Yes. Hide illegals set for deportation in your Church's basement to keep them from deportation? No

Clarence--
You did not stay on topic. ;-)
Define "help".
Do you believe the Church should offer sanctuary to illegal immigrants? Is that what you mean by "help"?
The Church does not shelter sinners from God's judgment, now does it? It offers the Good News of how to repent, receive God's Grace, and then change and receive forgiveness. It helps sinners recognize and acknowledge their sin and take steps to be redeemed.
The church can welcome illegals, feed them, love them, and HELP them -- become brothers and sisters in Christ AND render unto Caesar, just like we are all directed to.
Show me scripture where God directs us, the body of believers, to willfully disobey a secular law that does not require us to worship another god.
Your turn ;-)
REM: we don't check green cards prior to helping ANYONE spiritually or secularly. We WILL NOT have a program in place to help people continue in sin. Period.
In hoc signo
