"McCain Feingold was bad legislation, but if that is the worst thing a politician does, it is not that bad. "
McCain-Feingold trampled upon the constitution. It was blatant, and its unconstitutional. The worst a president can do is not uphold the constitution. He's not worthy to be dog catcher. We need term limits, or at least repeal the 17th amendment. Come on, kennedy a senator for over 40 years wasn't what the founders intended.

It's time FR made news.
You're speaking of GWB, the president that signed McCain-Feingold?
Plain as the ass on a goat, isn't it? And yet we have some at FR attempting to explain away or minimize that particular debacle.
Is there anyone left still enamored by "compassionate conservatism" and "new tone in Washington"?
