Bush is NOT on McCain's side on the torture policy...and he is not nearly as bad as McCain on the amnesty issue.

And neither one of them are as bad as Reagan was on the amnesty issue.

Get your facts straight.

The McCain-Kennedy bill would give illegals an easy road to citizenship. Bush talks about backdoor amnesty under the guise of a guest worker program. I see no real difference between what Bush and McCain want, and IRCA of 1986 that Reagan signed into law. Except that the IRCA of 1986 was suppose to be a one time amnesty deal for roughly 2-3 million illegals, with serious sanctions for employers who violated the law hiring illegals. Today we have 10-15 million illegals. McCain and Bush both agree illegals deserve special treatment.

Btw, Bush gave his thumbs up to McCain's torture bill.

Reagan made a mistake. Bush and McCain have not only not learned from that mistake, but are exacerbating it.
