The chilling effect of a regulatory scheme would be exacerbated by its arbitrariness--for example, the FEC trying to determine on a case-by-case basis which bloggers should be considered `news' organizations and be granted a media exemption and be taken out of the realm of regulated organizations, and which should not. This arbitrariness would negatively impact bloggers in particular because their sites often meld news and advocacy. If you have a web site, even as a private citizen, and release information that shows the people what hildabeast is really like, I believe it would fall under the category of news-advocacy. If it became a popular site, it would draw the attention of the FCC and you would be closed.
This whole thing reeks of Communism. Trying to do away with our free speech. Hell, they already screwed us on imminent domain.

She's holding back. She's leading up to the right moment to reintroduce the idea of abandoning the Electoral College. The Democrats can't get the whitehouse back unless they gerrymander our election system. So that they'll try to do.

You don't have to agree.
You just need to acknowledge reality.
The reality is that I am not alone in this thought, nor is it an insignificant number that hold this view.
If McCain is nominated a large number are going to refuse to support him. Probably enough to throw the race to the Dem, unlike McCain I don't believe the MSM will have his back in a presidential race. It was done in '92 and it was done in '96. And, imo, 41 and Dole were at least decent men. A quality that led me to support them even with vast disagreements on policy. McCain is not a man of character, and I will not support him under any circumstance because of it.
A vote for McCain is a vote for Hillary by default. If folks really want to test conservatives resolve on this...then people will learn the hard way.
But, luckily for them, I think conservatives are going to band together to destroy Mccain so that doesn't happen.

"Hillary Clinton of New York wants to abolish the Electoral College. On November 9 she told reporters"WOW!!! LOOk at that! Where did you find it (and so quickly)?
Hillary would be far more dangerous than McCain. They're not even in the same ballpark!

"Only STUPID ones would vote third party and hand over the White House to the Democrats."
The stupid ones handed it over to Clinton the last time we ran an a$$ hole...
If the base is not motivated to vote, the rats will win. You don't gave to like it Howlin, but that's the way it will come down.
