If that's the case I'd like to see someone request a ride along with a cop and (pcchhhht!) open a can of beer right there in the passenger seat - "OK, Let's do this!"

I'm a little behind the times. Apparently they stopped it WAAAAAAAY back in 2001 and have slid into nearly absolute prohibition since then.
