Indy - I appreciate the conversation. I agree with you. To be honest I have moved on to the private sector and am more involved in my Church than politics. I am to the right of the current republican party. I did not follow Buchanan out of the party because I thought it would be better to fight within the party. However, just looking at this thread it shows that I am not welcome in the current GOP. Have a great night.
It was a good discussion, hope you find your niche. I know I get frustrated, a lot. But, if you can look at where we were and where we are, well it puts things into perspective.
Take a look at this.
1931-1933

Start here, look at the house D's vs the R's. Take a look at the trend over the years. There is only one time in that period, from 1930 to 1994 that the R's had control in the house. What we've done in the GOP is pretty amazing when you look at in the big picture. Now is our time to make it even stronger, or to give it all to the libs. Shift the GOP to more conservative, similar to what's happened to the Dem's. The Dem's went more left, we can move more right. Hope you don't leave forever.

Oh, I'm way to the right, but, over time I realize what we are fighting (that's the frustrating part). Good luck to you, and thanks again for a nice chat.
