The Anglican Church in Wales on Tuesday asked readers to send back copies of a church magazine that contains a cartoon depicting the Prophet Muhammad.
The church said it was recalling the magazine to avoid causing offense to Muslims.
Sunni Muslim tradition bans any image of the prophet, favorable or otherwise. Several people have been killed in angry protests around the world against cartoons first published in a Danish newspaper last year and later reprinted in European newspapers.
This "church" is finally beneath all contempt.
Why does having a caricature of Mohammed just have to be so offensive in any way???
HMm I wonder how many of these magazines are on Ebay this morning. LOL!
Somebody needs to collect islamic cartoons that regularly attack Christians and Jews and flood the church with them. Maybe the Church will send people to the mideast to demand retractions. LOL
Dhimmitude marches on.
The Title should be :
The Christian Church genuflects to Islam
Good idea. But check out MEMRI.com and see if they're already highlighting Middle East press outrages. This group has gone underground to avoid suicide bombers.
What would Jesus do?
(for a hint read about the money changers)
This will be the first time in years that anyone has ever paid attention to a Welsh Anglican church magazine.
The more copies they recall, the more the outstanding copies will be in demand as collector's items. It is called supply and demand.
I never did meet a cleric who understood any economics.
Muslims celebrating diversity and free speech
My point is how can someone call themselves Christian if they are unwilling to defend their faith? In this case, it is over a cartoon. Sure Muslims will rampage like Muslims do, but is that a reason to submit to their prophet? It's like trying to serve two masters. It's OK to be Christian, but just don't get the muslims upset with you. In reality, it should be great to be a Christian in spite of what muslims think.
..this man has accepted Christ and Christianity....but according to their laws he is to be executed, unless he denounces his new faith.
He has said he cannot denounce....He is now a Christian.
So parallel these two stories...
..the man who will not denounce his Christian faith and might possibly die ....
..and this Anglican church who want their silly cartoon back because they're afraid of repercussions!

I believe that the followers of the pervert got their point across.
The practicers of political correctness quake in fear of offending the followers of the pervert.
I heard Albert Moller [sp?] correct a caller for saying that mohammad was a pervert because he marrief a 14 year old girl.
Moller [sp?] response was don't critize him for that because girls married younger in those days.
How about leave the magazines in circulation and recall the "offended" Muslims?
Jeremiah 6:10
To whom can I speak and give warning?
Who will listen to me?
Their ears are closed so they cannot hear.
The word of the LORD is offensive to them;
they find no pleasure in it.

To the Christian mind, we look upon this world as all those who have not come to Christ in humility and repentance for the forgiveness of sins, are going to face judgement for there sins and be eternally separated from God. We are also commanded to "love our neighbor as ourselves". No greater love can we have for someone than to care deeply about thier soul.
Millions of Muslims believe in a false god. A false doctrine. They belive one can earn, by his own right, the passage to paradise. This is in direct conflict with what Christ has said. Therefore, all Muslims will spend eternity apart from God.
Here we have the represenatives from the so called Angelican church validating that false religion by not standing up against it or speaking out against it. Was John the Baptist afraid of Herod? No, he called sin, sin. The Law was given so that we might know what sin is and realize that we have fallen short of God's standards.
If by our fruits we are known, then, I will say that these leaders do not love those who are misguided. In fact, if I may be so bold to say, they are showing the worst hatred against mankind you can have. Validating a false religion.
Kind of makes me wonder about whether or not what we are dealing with here is true Christianity at all. As we are commanded to judge those inside the body of Christ, to hold ourselves accountable to one another, so that a higher standard may be acheived, I am matching what I see about this to the Biblical test of 2 Peter chapter 2, and the book of 1 John.
The Angelican leadership is not fairing well.
