I thought Wal-Mart is a subversive element in the U.S.?

I wonder if Marx would approve? Let's ask A.Pole.

Definitely yes! According to Marx the globalization and economic integration into large units is a precondition for the victory of socialism. You can look at a socialist economy as one big all-encompassing corporation like Wal-Mart on steroids.

Lenin also would approve, he would like this Chinese return to his NEP (New Economical Policy, abandoned by Stalin) which was to use Western investors to build up Soviet Union.
