That's one of the things that has driven me NUTS for sometime now - - all the harping over the past few years about:
1. Bush has no exit plan
2. When are we bringing the troops home
3. When are the Iraqis going to be stand up on their own
4. The war is costing us $XXX per day
5. Bush went in unilaterally, w.o. the UN's 'approval'
All the same could be said about Bubba and Bosnia and Kosovo, EXCEPT nothing is ever mentioned. How about the fact that the year we went in there he said all the troops would be home by Christmas!!
Agreed. I'm still not convinced we were/are on the right side of that one in the first place. The genocide was all a lie and the Islamic ethnic cleansing going on today sure isn't making the news.
May I also add:
6. Bush lied about WMD, to get us into war with Iraq.
7. Iraq had zero, zilch, no ties to Al Qeada or terrorism, whatsoever.
8. We had to go in so Haliburton & Bush's other rich oil buddies could have the oil.
9. Addendum to above: No blood for oil!
10. The Arab street has been outraged, leading to terrorism that wasn't there before.
