How is a post about Lawyers a personal attack on you?

Because you disagree with me on something means you say lets go get the mods?

FFS dude grow up.

Go cry to the mods, I fear not what I post. You have shown in this thread that you care about the law second to what you claim will be economic demise. If the truth hurts, accept it. My statement is not a basless personal attack it is a statement of merit that holds true with alot of lawyers. Your posts about your positions speak loudly, maybe you should listen to them.

"I would prefer criminals to stay in jail, and those who are doing nothing wrong besides being in the country illegally to get on the path toward citizenship."

That would be nothing like the bracero program. That would be Ted Kennedys dream.

Look partner, this here native American was born right here in the good old USA. I am not an immigrant from anywhere to anywhere.

Illegal immigrants should pass that same status to their kids. That would eliminate the anchor baby factor that BOTH parties use as an excuse to do nothing.

I would support Congress Codifying that issue even to the tune of amendment if that is what it takes.

Why not tell this poster why you would reward a proven law breaker with the opportunity to become a citizen? Do you honestly seek a influx of folks that have proven they will break the law if it benefits them to do so?

Think about that for a minute OK. If you try to say that isn't rewarding bad behavior, what IS?

Did you miss the post where I said I am a lawyer? I was not aware that only "baseless" personal attacks were disallowed on FR.

Either political compromise would be fine with me.

"Did you ever think about leaving California for Canada?"

And have you ever thought about leaving Texas for Mexico?

But then I guess that wouldn't be much different from Texas.

You have not demostrated how what I said was a personal attack. I made a valid statement that holds truth about lawyers. Per your own posts it applies to you also ( your own posts regarding rule of law)

You not liking what I say or even simple disagreement does not and will never constitute a personal attack.

Lots of lawyers put winning their case above the truth and the rule of law. Do you honestly take everything said about lawyers as a personal attack? If so I pitty you.

So being that parents were immigrants (which is a false assumption on your part because both of mine were born here too) that is to make me one?

Look man, this isn't pakistan where I responsible for what my family does. You can call my great grandparents immigrants and I will agree with you but that in NO WAY makes ME an immigrant. Try again.

Illegal aliens hold 5% of all jobs in the US right now, unemployment stands at below 5%.

Have you ever stood in a soup line?

I've done volunteer work in one.

The majority of people standing in a soup libe cannot get work.

Last but not least, under 5% unemployment is nearly a statistical zero.

I don't take everything said about lawyers in general as a personal attack - if you can't see that posting I "do not actually give a care about the law" is a personal attack, that's fine with me. Have a nice day.

I'd rather not any more with you. For the record, I did not mean to imply that you and I literally SHARE the same 2 parents either. As I said, have anice day.

You were making a big deal about someone else who does not live in California cleaning up their State before commenting on ours - I hold the same opinion about California, so I wanted to see what clever retort you would have for me instead of actually dealing with the substance of the debate.

I'm making the case for you, so you would agree we should have ZERO legal immigration too, at least temporarily, right?

your own posts demonstrate that you put the rule of law behind claimed economic outcomes to enforcing the law.

It most certainly does seem that are among the folks I was talking about.

You cannot possibly put the rule of law first when you say so clearly that your reason for not enforcing it is for economic what if's.

Note, if I meant to personally attack you I would have done so. I dissent your position and for that you holler MODS! Your dime man but everyone that reads this thread will see exactly what kind of lawyer you supposedly are.

Here is an idea..... SUE ME then.... for defamation. I will use your own posts as my defense! HA HA HA

Of course you do not wnat to talk to me anymore. You make a claim and I show you where it is flawwed. I would bet you don't like that.

I am not the immigrant you said I was. Nor are my parents, or my grand parents. You erred sir. Accept the consequences of your own words.

I already know what your opinions are, and I'm not impressed. I have nothing but contempt for anyone on this site who holds pro-illegal alien views thereby denigrating American sovereignty, secure borders, culture, customs, traditions and language. These are bedrock values to loyal American conservatives.

They are what distinguish the quislings from loyal American conservatives.

If you do not share these same values, I have no use for you. None.
