He's a Libertarian, and that will change once he really gets a look at ROmney's positions.

He's not a New York City native. He's a small-town boy from Poughkeepsie, New York.

I was at Vassar College with him in the Seventies. Back then he was known as Jimmy Severino. We all think it's funny that he changed his name.

“To be honest, I’d have to say Howie, now that I’m in a different time slot. There’s no question that Howie’s the big dog in local Boston radio,” Severin told the Herald during a trip to the Hub. “He’s a Boston legend.”

Thinking all along that he was the Boston legend, the Dread Boston Salty is deeply saddened.

Hate Severin, it's one thing that he opposes Iraq, but his reasoning is so simplistic it is frightening.

We're like a cop who had a search warrant for WMD but we broke into the wrong house, so now we have to leave immediately, we have no reason to be there. He says this again and again.

That is how Jay Severin deals witha nation of 50 million sitting in the most strategic spot on Earth, with enormous oil resources, people who are our allies, etc. Screw him.

How many more, Mr. Speaker!...

I like Howie, but I do think some of his rhetoric about illegal immigrants is a bit extreme. Yes, they've broken the law, but they are not subhumans.

Howie likes Mitt too and has had him on several times. So Mitt's doing something right.

I was listening to both Severin and Romney on Imus today and both made a good deal of sense. Romney has the right answers to the questions. Very impressive, and I disagree about Severin's logic. He tore Hillary apart referring to her as to the left of Satan and talking about her big bottom. He does say that it is possible that Hillary can be elected. Depending on who the Republicans nominate it can't be ruled out. If everyone here to claims they won't vote for McCain and he is nominated, then I would suppose anything is possible. A lot of people evidently believe it does make sense to cut off one's nose to spite their face.

I tuned in his show a few times over the past week. The show sucks, big time.

I don't have any use for the libertine either. But he's right about Howie. When will Howie be syndicated? He is the funniest guy on radio. But he does have a big weakness, and that's his moral indifference, which is typified by stuff like "the death pool." Not funny.
