Ya, it is easier when the bones creak, to live in South Orange County. But I never sold what I owned in LA. I love each and every property, and enjoy bantering with the tenants, when I tell them I am an atheist and pro gay marriage, etc (can't pin the relgious right taliban label on me, no sir!), chap who voted for Bush twice. One tenant told me he had never had a Bush voter set foot in his apartment, and would need after I came out of the closet to shampoo his carpet. I told him he should, because he would never see hardwood floors in it, as long as he was a tenant. We are actually pretty good friends. And so it goes. :)
