I don't know what kind of a relationship they have. I would assume it is cordial and familial. So the only other explanation for Bush's kiss-of-political-death endorsement is ignorance. He just doesn't know how unpopular he is right now – and what long coattails of disenchantment he wears. No sh*t. This guy owns stock in ignorance. Maybe arrogance is a better word? Anyone who lives in America these days is smacked upside the head with the results of his asskissing Vincente Fox.

Yes, a week ago today. But she died peacefully with her family at her side -- not by having the "ethics" committee unplug her respirator. She died naturally. That made all the difference to her family, to us, to herself.
