However, if the source is Israel or a Jewish archeological foundation, I'm not going to expect them to imply acceptance of the title Dominus or Christus to Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
On the other hand, no one thinks I worship Saturn just because I called March 11, 2006 A.D. "Saturday."

The Jewish source should have just used the Jewish year.
One arbitrary temporary dating system is as good as another.
