Don't give me another thing to stress about. My friend in Lafayette is right near some tributary for some major river, can't remember which one.
The Wabash River probably
The Wabash River runs near Lafayette and dumps into the Ohio/Kentucky. In southern Illinois & Indiana, it provides a convenient "marking" point for the state border(s).
