Dear SDGOP,
"Is ru-486 the morning after pill?"
No, it's not.
The "morning after pill" is a high-dose contraceptive that sometimes prevents conception, and sometimes prevents the zygote from implanting in the woman's uterine lining. Thus, sometimes its effect is contraceptive, sometimes its effect is abortifacient. The morning after pill only works for a short time after sexual activity.
RU-486, on the other hand, is just a plain old chemical abortion. RU-486 can be used for a couple of months into pregnancy.

Ahhh thanks for the clairfication, the way i always heard it i was under the impression ru486 was the morning after pill and i thought it was politically infeasable to want to ban that.
You're most welcome. Have your daughters found a church near VCU? Have they had a chance to look into the Reformed Uninversity Fellowship yet?
Sorry, I didn't know he played for UVA. Then again, who follows UVA football?
Romney on abortion.
Endorsed legalization of RU-486. (Mar 2002)
Personally against abortion, but pro-choice as governor. (Mar 2002)
For safe, legal abortion since relative's death from illegal. (Oct 1994)
ROTFLMAO!
That's Ted Koppel!
My daughter is only 11, so we don't let her pick out her own churches...lol!
Heh heh heh...dem fightin' words, Mr. Magroin...MUD
You don't get it.
Abortion is a barometer of a candidate's judgement.
Pro-abortion candidates tend to lean liberal on other issues as well.
Besides, a Republican pro-abortion candidate will lose. Who's going to vote for him? Conservatives will stay home and liberals will just vote for the Dim.
It's unbelievable, isn't it? Allen is a great choice for POTUS. He has the experience and solid conservative credentials. Maybe not 99.44% Ivory soap pure conservative credentials, but he's still a conservative nonetheless.
Plus he's tall - and tall candidates win elections.
