China is probably laughing their backsides off because the morons in congress still haven't figured out that they've got the west coast deal, the Saudis and Kuwaitis are sniggering at them as well seeing as they have deals right now in NY and NJ. Seriously, I bet they are all nervous right now. Congress' business is saving its own face, and there are plenty on record as anti-foreign involvement.

According to articles I posted last night the shipping industry was much more concerned about Maersk Sealand's acquisition of P&O Nedlloyd than they were this deal. They now have a significant percentage of the terminal business.
I have more fear of this Dutch business buckling some day to some stupid World Court order regarding the US than I have of Dubai Ports World.

They all have leases and they've already been approved. It would cost the taxpayers billions to buy them out.
