I halfway agree. The time to throw them out is in the primaries. Nevertheless, a complete turn over in Congress would send a healthy message. When the Republicans act no different than the Dems, and in certain instances worse, it is hard to justify supporting them. Remember newly elected members of either party will hear the wrath of the people and "may" mend their ways.

(Glad you realized my comment was not meant for you alone.)

I admit limiting donations to the state or national party. Instead, I'm giving more to indivisuals. There are plenty of ways to make my views loud and clear to both activists and office holders. I do that, and I'm not alone.

Just as people on FR are upset, so are activists. We have to hold our side accountable to us and responsible for voting on issues that are important. I cannot be responsible for others, but I sure can take an active part in candidates and office holders who I've been voting for and supporting. The biggest failure on the port deal was the White House not actively explaining what was going on, followed by the knee jerk reactions of some Republicans who responded before thinking it through.
