He doesn't even have to do ANYTHING to get blamed. Remember Katrina was HIS fault. So how can the slow cleanup not be his fault?/sarc off

I remember driving the MS coast for the first time in 1979. There was still visible damage from Camille which hit ten years earlier. A devastating storm, but near the widespread impact as Katrina. Wish I would have thought to blame Carter back then.

Bush has also been blamed for every problem the prior administration left at the door on their way out!

Actually, I have to fault some of the Conservative media, ie. talk show hosts. During the week after the storm, they were all "now is not the time to point fingers" - nobody confronted Nagin or Blanco. Everyone was too afraid to be seen as not "caring" about the victims. I heard passing references, but never hard facts about the incompetancy, the corruption.

When the CANAL WALLS (under local levee board control) broke, I kept saying "Why doesn't somebody turn off the water".

I never expected the MSM to get to the local fiasco, but I did expect it from Conservative media, and those like FNC.

All we got was tragedy TV

Even when you know its BS, it has to get to you after a while. I think that's why Presidents seem to age so much during their term.
