Snip: Not a red cent to Hamas," MacKay said on CBC's Inside Politics. "This is a terrorist organization."
Hamas members were sworn in as the Palestinian cabinet on Wednesday. The militant group has refused to recognize Israel, renounce violence and agree to follow existing plans to bring peace to the region, as Canada and other countries have demanded.
It is insulting!
To all the legal immigrants who came before, worked hard...paid their taxes and were proud to become Americans.
And it's insulting to the rest of us law-abiding citizens as well. Our health insurance rates are virtually unaffordable because we're picking up the slack for the freeloaders. Not to mention property taxes, so on and so forth...
I have a picture of my parents the day they became citizens. Dad in a three piece suit and tie. Mom in a lovely dress, hat and white gloves. It was an important day and they dressed in Sunday bests for it.
Becoming American meant something back then.
Grenade launcher, machine guns found in home (MA)
DUDLEY -- Police serving a search warrant confiscated close to 30 weapons including machine guns and a grenade launcher Tuesday night.
Police also seized chemicals that could be used in narcotics production.
The residence, located at 7 Third Avenue in Dudley, required the Mass. State police bomb squad and the Drug Enforcement Agencies Hazmat team to safely remove the illicit items.
Police are currently questioning two suspects. Formal charges have not yet been announced; it is unclear whether they will face local or federal charges.(snip)

Since this topic {our passion}is heating up big time and as someone here told me JR is now on board the following links are very important...I will give a daily update for all:
Is it time for a constitutional convention called by the people re: illegal immigration?
Posted on 03/27/2006 7:46:36 PM CST by Jim Robinson
Just heard O'Reilly say that even though over 75% of the American people are opposed to illegal immigration, the Congress is unwilling to do anything about it. Now we all know that it is highly unlikely that representatives of either party are willing to commit to any meaningful immigration reform, so is it time for we the people through our state legislatures (requires two thirds of the states) to call for a convention to propose a constitutional amendment defining the federal government's role and responsibility for defending our borders? If so, how should such an amendment be worded and how would we go about getting two thirds of the state legislatures to act?

I want to say many Freeper's were my family on this issue, so many good ones are gone because the issue was so heated and I then put my energy into helping develop Threat Matrix, but the illegal issue is my first dedication . Each subject matter at FR has it's own family and that is what I absolutely love about FR!
I have gone through my old pinglists, I had so many and am combining a new one for the illegal border issue, if anyone would like to be added please let me know!
Thank you for the ping, JP.
Sorry Vel, I didn't see your post before I posted the PA / Hamas link.
REP. MCKINNEY: QUEEN OF THE UNHINGED
Loony Democrat Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney from Georgia made a few appearances in my last book, but she deserves her own stand-alone case study.
This afternoon, as you've all probably heard by now, she allegedly struck a police officer (via WSBTV via Drudge):
Sources tell Channel 2 Action News that McKinney was involved in a disagreement with the officer at a security checkpoint at the Capitol.
One of the sources, a member of the House Republican Conference, confirmed that McKinney struck the officer.
According to U.S. Capitol Police McKinney and the officer scuffled today after the Georgia Democrat entered a House office building unrecognized and refused to stop when asked.

I don't think that we need a constitutional convention with the risk of having the current group of twisted politicians toying with the Constitution.
I think we need to start recalling and impeaching these twisted buggers. None of them are following their Oath of Office to protect America from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
We have a group of Quislings and traitors in Washington, DC today.
Sometime Saturday night, according to Chasewood North Community Board member Sue Miller, someone put a Mexican flag,
Former Guantanamo Bay inmate questioned by police over double shooting in Australia
SYDNEY, Australia
A former Guantanamo Bay inmate who was released by the U.S. military without charge last year has been questioned by police over a fatal double shooting in Sydney, media reports said Thursday.
Egyptian-born Mamdouh Habib, 50, was released without charge from the U.S. military base in Cuba in January 2005, more than three years after he was arrested in Pakistan in October 2001 and held on suspicion of being a terrorist.
The former terror suspect was questioned by police late Wednesday after two young men were gunned down in the western Sydney suburb of Granville, the Australian Associated Press reported.
"It seems like police think Mamdouh was a witness or something," Raul Bassi, a friend of Habib's, told AAP.(snip)

States step up to enforce immigration codes
Snip: The editors of the Christian Science Monitor argue that state level activity in making immigration policy is a symptom of the unwillingness of the US federal government to enforce immigration laws.
My note: We're in the LAND OF THE FREE (as long as you're illegal) and HOME OF THE BRAVE (the rest of us defending our homes and lives from the illegals beset upon us).
Snip: One of Foxs cabinet officers, Juan Hernandez said, The Mexican population is 100 million and 23 million who live in the United States.
As you can see, we allow 56 Mexican consulates in major cities throughout America to foster this invasion with help and guidance inside the belly of America.
If that guest worker program passes this month, you're looking at adding 60 million Mexicans to American within 10 years. Over 18 million will be Spanish speaking children flooding our schools. Yes, if even half those 12 million illegal Mexicans bring in six million wives under Specters or Kennedys guest worker programs, those wives bring at least three children each. Thus, you're looking at 18 million more kids within a heartbeat in timehitting our schools. If even half the single Mexicans have one child each in ten years, youre talking six million more kids. This is war and colonization by any other names.
My maternal grandmother refused to speak Polish to my grandpa, she told him in no uncertain terms you are in America , speak English...

Yep, it sure is.
Congress Critter's are not the problem this time around though, they 'passed' the Sensenbrenner bill, the toughest on illegal immigration, it is your Senators that are caving by being bullied from the illegal immigrant jihad corner
No problemo.
