So you obviously aren't interested in facts as to why so many people were against the deal. The people spoke and government listened - isn't that the way it is supposed to work?

I was interested in the facts and I found out the facts before I formed my opinion. "The people" went into hysterics without hearing the facts and certain people in Congress who care more about staying in office than guarding our country's best interest took a chance to make a purely political grandstand.

You can look at the polls taken right here at Free Republic and see that the first emotional reaction to the deal was negative, but after the facts were attained there were many more people who supported it.
