Sometimes, even a President needs to accept the will of the people. In a democratic republic, at least.

The will of the people was to elect George Bush to be Commander in Chief, Chief Executive officer. In a democratic republic representatives are elected to execute the duties of their respective offices. Sometimes the people need to accept that their will has been done. On election day. That's a democratic republic.

In a democratic republic, at least.

We are a representative republic, and not a steenkin European style Democracy.

I'm afraid we have lost our way and if we do not reestablish what has worked so well for 200+ years, we will not survive what is to come.

Governance via poll is very dangerous and likely fatal.

This country is officially in serious trouble.
